hi, former nords employee here! + as a forever loyal nords customer, it’s only natural that i share my top 2020 nordstrom anniversary sale picks. having worked it many years and getting to know the bestsellers year after year, i know exactly what i’m looking for every time sale season rolls around in august. this year i’ll share my top fave staples that i’m wearing year ‘round. hope you love xx
absolute number one pick without a doubt! these leggings are truly to die!! i mean it. definitely more of a fall/winter piece but i literally wore them all summer?? cute with white crops, big tees, sweatshirts, vans, heels - literally anything and they make ur butt look cute. they are hard as shit to pull on the first time, but it get’s easier as you wear them more! still keeps insane hold and has everything looking tight and right.
two pairs of leather leggings, i know. but i like what i like. a more casual alternative to the commando — these are perf for throwing on to run around town taking care of “errands” looking chic af. i swap back and forth between these and the commandos so i’m not wearing the same pants everyday, just every other day ;) these run true to size and work wonders on the legs.
a fall/winter staple. i wear this over hoodies on my way to target or over crops and bodysuits to wear out on the weekends. literally a day to night piece. actually. if you need a trendy but not too trendy warmer jacket for fall — this is your piece.
nordy’s sale is a go-to for me every year for a little denim refresh. although more of a summery wash, these are still cute paired with booties and sweaters throughout fall and winter. we love a straight leg and distressed hem. this is my new everyday jean! frame i typically wear my normal size and will size up one for a more boyfriend fit and feel.
if you don’t know now you know! 100p best and most comfortable thongs made. soft cotton lining and no-show stretchy lace basically does it all. try a pair and you’ll never go back. thank me later!
